The General Course is excellent for learning Italian with other students.
But, if you want to deepen your knowledge of the language, individual lessons exclusively with the teacher are also very useful.
The Combined Course combines in a perfect way the advantages of the group course and the ones of personalized learning: 20 group lessons in the morning of the General Course + 5 individual lessons in the afternoon, still in the classroom, to be agreed directly with the teacher.
-
A course to make the most of the week of study of the Italian language.
The “Combined Course 2” retains all the advantages of the “group learning + individual learning” mix of the Combined Course, but gives even more room for one-to-one lessons with the teacher.
The course includes: 20 group lessons in the morning of the General Course + 10 individual lessons (two per day) in the afternoon, always in the classroom, to be agreed directly with the teacher.

Three thousand years ago, in Sardinia, the Nuraghic people cultivated vines and produced wine.
They, the mysterious and ancient inhabitants of our island, were the first producers of Mediterranean red wine already in the Iron Age, between 900 and 750 BC.
A winemaking tradition that has its roots in the mists of time and that continues successfully to this day: many awards received in recent years by Sardinian wines, nationally and internationally. It is a real pleasure to get to know, taste and appreciate them.
Italian & Wines offers you such opportunity with a program that combines two evening tasting sessions per week, to 20 lessons of the General Course.
Many of you like this course a lot: because it gives joviality, good humor and joy to converse amiably with sommeliers, expert winemakers and companions in front of a good glass of wine.

The course consists of 4 lessons per day of General Course in the morning plus 2 seminars per week plus a guided tour per week to sites of historical, archaeological and artistic interest in Sardinia. The duration of the course is from 1 to 4 weeks.
The course takes place every day from Monday to Friday and consists of 4 daily lessons in the morning from 9.15 to 12.55.
The seminars take place in the afternoon and concern:
– the history, culture, traditions and art of Sardinia
– the life and works of some of the protagonists of Italian painting and figurative arts of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
The guided tours will focus on the discovery of sites of great historical, artistic and archaeological interest such as the fantastic Prehistoric Altar of Monte d’Accoddi (the only example of construction linked to the Babylonian Ziqqurat in the Mediterranean basin), the suggestive nuraghic palaces of Palmavera and Torralba (among the best preserved nuraghic complexes in Sardinia – the Nuraghe were stone buildings typical of a fascinating and mysterious civilization that lived and prospered in Sardinia before the arrival of the Romans) and a visit to the enchanting Basilica of Saccargia with its black and white marble supreme example of Pisan-Romanesque style in Sardinia.

The Italian & Latin Course consists of 4 lessons of the General Course in the morning every day from Monday to Friday plus one individual Latin lesson per day.
This course allows you to combine the advantages of holding an Italian group course with the opportunity to deepen the common language of origin of the Romance languages (Latin in fact), fundamental to know the common substratum and “the soul” of the Italian language itself and the other Neolatine languages.
Through this course it is therefore possible to gain a better understanding of the modern Italian language, the meaning of most of its words or simply enjoy the study of one of the two classical languages par excellence.

Are you coming to Alghero with your family? Why not take advantage of it to involve everyone, including children, in an immersion in the study of the Italian language?
A very simple formula: dad and/or mom follow the General Course while the children, in a separate class, begin to become familiar with our language with games, songs and other fun educational activities, followed by our teachers.
A valid alternative to Italian lessons in class for children can be the program proposed by a summer camp that organizes, under the watchful eye of coordinators and animators, a series of games and fun activities on the beach involving Italian and foreign children aged between 5 and 15 years.
-
The program consists of a short class seminar on the history of Sardinia and its ancient food and wine specialties. During the seminar it will be offered a taste of high quality Sardinian gastronomic products.
An excursion will follow at an extraordinary archaeological site symbol of the history of the island: the Nuraghe Palmavera; then a guided visit to one of the most important social wineries in the region (located near Alghero) and, to finish, a typical Sardinian complete dinner in a Restaurant / Trattoria in the historic center of Alghero.
